In this book we follow Natalie, a photographer who has had her share of pain and hardships as she meets Luke, a mysterious man who gets angry with her for taking a photo. On the surface they don’t seem like two people who would ever get together but once they open up, they find that they are a perfect match.

This is a quick read that you could probably get done in one day, but it’s a good thing because this is the kind of book that you would read while you are on vacation at the beach. It has a lot of romance but the exchange between Luke and Natalie is so real that it makes up for how rushed that the story is.

The rushing of the story does take away from it. Proby could have easily done something to show passing of time. Like ‘over the next few months’ or something similar. They meet, two weeks later fall in love, one month later, they are engaged. It just seemed a bit unrealistic especially considering the trust issues that each of them claim to have.

Another thing that was rushed was the horrible situation that Natalie went through when she was a teenager. We kind of just glazed over what happened and didn’t really effect Natalie in a way that it probably would have.

The best part of the book was the back and forth between Luke and Natalie. They joked around a lot with one another and it was really entertaining to read the two of them talk and play around.

There are some grammatical errors that you should be aware of, but there are so few and far in between, it doesn’t take away from the story all that much, but very impressive for a self-published book.

This is a good book to read while you are on vacation or just relaxing. It’s a quick and easy read that you would enjoy and the fact that it’s currently free on Kindle is a real steal because you are really getting a pretty good story.

Rating: B-
