Format: ebook, soft cover
Series: book #3 in Tangled series
Rated: 18+ for language, sexual content
In this story we follow the bets friends of Kate and Drew, Matthew and Dee, as they start of as friends with benefits that quickly turn into something bigger and deeper. But they are both new to being in a committed relationship and have to see if they have what it takes to make the relationship last.
This book is like the first one where it’s told from the male’s POV. It has the same easy, and funny dialogue that we got used to in the first book, though, Matthew doesn’t come off as much of a womanizer that Drew did. Unlike Drew, he doesn’t try and push Dee away when he realizes his feelings for her but tries to embrace it.
Dee has her own issues with guys and when you find out what they are you can’t really blame her for being the way she is, even when Matthew is being Mr. Knight in Shiny Armor.
This story entwines with the first story so there are references made from the first story in this one. It is recommended that you read that story first but it’s not necessary to do so. This is a definite positive for this story. Sometimes if you take a break in between reading the stories you can get lost in what’s going on, but not this one.
Dee and Matthew are perfect for one another and complement one another in the best ways. Matthew is a carefree guy who doesn’t like BS and Dee is blunt and says whatever it is on her mind. It is a fun story to watch these two overcome their prides and their pasts and find love in each other. Makes you want another story of them as well as one with Drew and Kate.
