Series: book 4 of 4 in Tangled series
Rated: 18+ for language, sexual content
In the final book in the Tangled series, Kate and Drew get ready for the big day and try to survive through the bachelor and bachelorette party.
Emma Chase does it once again in this story. She entertains the reader from start to finish as we dive back into Drew’s mind and see how fatherhood and his upcoming marriage is effecting him. When we met him in the first book, that was the furthest thing from his mind, but we get to him transform into the person he tried so hard not to be.
But he didn’t change completely.
He’s still that possessive, proud, stubborn man that we met but his relationship with Kate proves that behind every great man, there is a woman rolling her eyes (Bruce Almighty reference to those of you who didn’t know that).
And of course, there is a little bit of drama because what kind of Bachelor and Bachelorette party in Vegas be without a little bit of drama? Dee tortures Drew just a little bit while Drew tries to save his sister’s marriage. There were alcohol, drugs, gambling, and strippers. The only thing that the parties were missing was a baby.
The best thing that this book does is that it shows a softer side to Drew. We get to see how fatherhood has changed him and how much that he not only loves Kate, but their son, James, as well. He won’t admit to this, but it’s no secret that he’s grown up a bit over the series and boy are we thankful for the ride 😉
Could the series have done fine enough without this book? Sure. But that doesn’t mean we don’t want it. It is a fun story as we see Drew and Kate get ready for their big day and one of those fluff stories that we all want to read at the end of a series that we love. We just want to make sure that the couple has their happy ever after.
