Top 5 movies coming out this month

movie lists

#5 – Tomorrowland
Starring: Britt Robertson, George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy
Rated: PG
Out: 5/22

Disney looks to try and franchise another part of it’s amusement park. Tomorrowland is a section of Disney World where Space Mountain, The Buzzlightyear Ride, and People Mover resides. Now don’t expect any of these things to end up in the movie. But there are rumors circuling that they may make a series out of the sections of Magic Kingdom if this movie does well. While this movie has high hopes a part of me would be ok with not seeing this turn into a franchise.

#4- Aloha
Starring: Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, John Krasinski
Rated: R
Out: 5/29

When you look at the complete cast of this movie, you don’t even need to know what it’s about. At least for me. It has literally every person that I like (except a few names) but then you see the trailer and it looks better then you could imagine? Sign me up.

#3-  Spy
Starring: Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne
Rated: R
Out: 5/22

Melissa McCarthy. Rose Byrne. Jason Staham in a comedy. Need I say more?

#2- Pitch Perfect 2
Starring: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow
Rated: PG-13
Out: 5/15

Initially (and still a few lingering feelings) about whether or not this movie will be as amazing as the first one. I have high hopes for it because this will be Elizabeth Banks first time directing a full length film (she did a short for Movie 43) and I am anxious to see if her awesomness comes out as a director.

#1- The Avengers Age of Ultron
Starring: Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner
Rated: PG-13
Out: 5/2

In one of the most anticipated movies of the year, we get to meet up with all our favorite superheroes while they once again are called on to save the world. I don’t know if it’s possible for a movie to be bigger or better than the first Avengers. Of course, this movie probably won’t live up to the expectations, but as long as it doesn’t completely tank it (like many many many sequels tend to do) then I would be all set.

What movie are you most excited to see this month?
