Ayden knows it’s time to remember what really happened four years ago, so he can help save his sister. With the help of Lyric, he faces his past head on.
But dealing with the truth is difficult.
Will Ayden finally be free of his past so he can move forward to his future?
In the final book that involves Lyric and Ayden, Ayden continues to try and find his sister Sadie while Lyric tries to support him when he resorts to using a method that Lila and Ethan didn’t want.
This story is certainly that pretty bow on yet anther beautiful series for Jessica Sornsen. Lyric and Ayden have been through a lot of the year and they finally get to the end of the long dark tunnel that has been most of Ayden’s life.
What I like most about this book is the relationship between Lyric and Ayden. She is an optimistic, happy person and you can just feel that jump off the page, while Ayden has never really had anything to be happy about. And despite the stuff that happens, she never loses sight of who she is and Ayden never loses sight of how perfect she is for him.
The ending of the story was a little anticlimatic. We’ve been getting this giant build up for this big show down with Ayden’s dad. You get a little peak into something exciting, but it cuts to another point of view before you get to the ‘good’ stuff. I wish we would have seen more of what happened rather then hearing about what happened.
It was a good series and made me love the whole world a lot more then I already did. There is a surprise announcement at the end of the book that I won’t spoil for you, but it definately put a smile on my face.
