In the last episode, Mike returns to work while Briggs devises a plan to take down Ari. In this weeks show, called ‘Aha’, when Ari Adamian has no recollection of his actions, Briggs helps the Armenian gangster piece together the disturbing details of his lost night.
Air is desperate to figure out what happened the night before and he suspects Briggs which means he needs to be smart as a fox to get out of this alive.
The next part of the plan has Mike acting like a convenience store worker. Question will be can he keep the 47 birds out of his head long enough to nail Ari.
After the visit at the convenience store, Ari learned that Layla is missing and Ari is the number one suspect, though he wants to blame the guy who robbed her aka Briggs. He will have to remain quiet because Martin’s right hand man Trevon is on the case to find her.
The “aha” moment comes when they find a room key. They think it will lead to the killer. But Ari is scared of what is going to be at the motel room. Things seem to be smooth sailing until Ari figures out that Briggs set him up.
They go to the hotel that Colby was at with Layla and Briggs quickly sees how one small detail (Paige burning the wrong finger) sends up his whole plan in flames.
As the show goes on, we see the intricate plan that Briggs came up with to nail Ari. It feels very noir as it’s in black and white except for the color red. During their part, Jakes tries to get Johnny to open up about what’s going on with his case. Charlie tries to get Mike to talk about his drug problem, which of course he says he doesn’t have.
This show shows how well that they work as a team and how quickly things can change. We have seen this a lot in this show with Mike still dealing with the consequences of it from last season.
In the next episode, Ari is looking for revenge while the group try to figure out a way to survive it. Make sure to join us next week and play Graceland live for a chance to win prizes.
