In the final book of the Lizzy Gardner series, Lizzy, Kitaly, and Haley go on a trek of teaching the bad guys a lesson but Lizzy quickly sees that it’s not who she is and wouldn’t be what Jared want, but is she too far gone to stop before someone gets her?

We get to see a different side to Lizzy that we didn’t know she had. It was very interesting to see someone who made a horrible situation into a good one only to fall victim again to a terrible loss. It’s obvious she isn’t handling Jared’s death in the best ways and we get to see that transformation of her finally coming to terms with his death.

The biggest character development has to come from Haley though. She has been through some unspeakable things but in this book we get to see that she just might make it out with a bright future. She starts to see that the whole world isn’t as ugly as she has seen it in her young life but can be beautiful. Thanks to Tommy and Kitaly especially she is able to see thy there is more to life then revenge, because there is love and friendship in it.

There are essentially three cases in this book but you don’t get confused at all. Ragan is able to jump around from story to story giving each one the time it needs to develop. But with having three cases one of them didn’t get a full ending like the other two did.

The ending is beautiful and thankfully a happy one. But just because it’s happy doesn’t mean that it’s not exciting. Ragan creates and exciting and invigorating ending to the series and should leave the fans feeling satisfied. I for one can’t wait to see where Ragan takes us next in her next series.
