Goodreads page:

In the second book Gwen tries to adjust to life without JC and finds solace in a familiar person, but when she sees JC again she realizes that she will never move on from him. No matter what threatens them.

If you didn’t love Gwen and JC before this book then you certainly will after this one. Paige created such an epic love affair that you are rooting for them since page 1 and just count down the pages until they are able to finally get their happy ever after.

We finally get the answers to the questions that have been bothering us (or maybe just me). We finally find out what happened with JC and finally get to see him try and move on from that. We see a complete 180 for him and it’s a fun and erotic ride.

It’s a rollercoaster ride so make sure you strap yourself in for this book. There are a lot of ups and downs in this book and when you think you know what’s going to happen next, you don’t. Paige keeps you guessing page to page. And when you get to the end you will go back to the beginning and start it all over again.

The climax was a little anticlimactic for the fact that Paige kept building up to this big ending. It does resolve itself for both Gwen and JC but I was expecting and hoping for a more dramatic ending.
