#5 Born to Endless Night by Cassandra Clare
Out: October 20th
We are coming to an end of the Shadowhunter Academy series and Simon finds himself being challenged in ways he has never been before (at least in his own memory). In this story, a baby is found at the doorstep and Magnus Bane takes it under his wing. The book is going to beg the question of who this baby is and why was it left at the Academy?
#4 The Rose Society by Marie Lu
Out: October 6th
In the second book of the series, we get the fall out from what happened at the end of the first book as Adelina comes to terms with the heartache she suffered. She starts to master her powers just as a new enemy presents itself. Like the first book, this book is going to have a lot of twists and turns that is going to having you both embracing and yelling at the book.
#3 Black Widow Forever Red by Margaret Stohl
Out: October 13th
In this book, we dive into the character of The Black Widow trying to find out what her life was like before she joined The Avengers. We have seen clipettes of it through the movies, but this will go into more detail that the movies don’t. It’s meant to be a companion to the movies which is something that hasn’t been attempted before. I trust in Marvel to make it right.
#2 See Me by Nicholas Sparks
Out: October 13th
In the latest book from the NY Times best selling author, we get what sounds like a bit of thriller (something that he hasn’t done since Safe Haven). We dive into a world that we haven’t explored yet with Sparks but you can expect that it’s going to be a beautiful romance between the two people in the book with a little heartbreak somewhere mixed in.
#1 Surviving Ice by KA Tucker
Out: October 27th
In the next book of the series, we follow Ivy who we had met in the last book as she returns back home to California and faces the life that she left behind. Like the last two books, we can expect an epic kind of love story that you are going to be rooting for from start to finish but know that it won’t be as easy as pie to get there.
What book are you most excited to read this month?
