Last time the villains begin to wreck havoc on Gotham as Gordon tries to put a team he can trust together to take them down. The escaped villains, aka Maniax, are starting to create havoc on Gotham with their leader Theo. Jerome has moved to the leader of the Maniax and is likely to stay there until he wants Theo’s job that is. We lose another face that we love as the new commissioner has found herself at the end of one of Jerome’s attacks as the whole GCPD department is dead except for Bullock and Gordon.

In this show, titled ‘The Last Laugh’, Gordon and Bullock continue to try and hunt down the Maniax while Jerome makes a move on the Gotham Children’s Hospital. If you are a fan of the Batman movies, you will know that this scene is reminiscent of something that was seen in The Dark Knight. The creators have yet to confirm whether or not Jerome is The Joker but have stated that we will find out sometime soon the truth behind The Joker.

Theo starts to put the next stage in his plan in motion. Jerome works his own plans which include getting revenge on his birth father for betraying him at the GCPD. But it’s not before he leaves a little parting gift for Bullock and Gordon. The knock-out gas takes Bullock out of commission for a little while.

At the benefit for the Children’s Hospital, Bruce tries to reason with Selina, but she is not going to change. Jerome and Tabitha take over for the magician’s job. Now we know how he’s going to awe and shock the benefactors. The Great Rudolfo (aka Jerome) has Bruce be part of his first act. For the second act, it’s going to involve Thompkins and Gordon. Theo ‘pretends’ to be the hero but he’s as believable as unicorns existing. But the final act has Theo stabbing Jerome in the neck. Perhaps the writers are right that Jerome is not The Joker. But he is the one that is going to inspire the real joker

Bullock tries to clear up Gordon’s debt with Oswald, but Oswald is not one to let favors go. It looks like Bullock is going to have a shadow. But Bullock has his own vendetta against Oswald for killing Fish Mooney.

In the next episode, there is a new face in town wanting to help the GCPD take down the Maniax and Oswald but will have a hard time trying to do so.
