In the last episode, the unit try and stop a school shooting from happening when they get evidence that he’s going to. The show touches on a sensitive subject that is especially apparent today as it deals with school shootings which has been happening a lot lately. Olinsky makes a bold choice and not looking at the results of the paternity test and then telling his wife that. She kicks him out, which forces him to move in with Ruzek with Michelle. In this week’s episode, titled ‘Forget My Name’, the unit try and find a group of people going around with plans to terrorize the entire country.
Dawson and Halstead meet with someone in Narcotics and he gives them a tip from a man named Dominic on trying to end a drug lord. He knows he can’t do anything but he knows that Intelligence can. But instead of finding drugs, they find a dead body to a man, named Roger Harrington, who works for the government. Roger worked on something that created a way to wipe out sensitive information. His friend at work told him that some of the chips that Roger created have gone missing and because of what they do, a lot of people would be wanting them. But since the chips are meant for the government, it means that they are going to be on their butts to keep the investigation quiet.
Dominic is forced to join in the investigation full time as his job, and maybe life is at stake. They find a center person for all the burner phones and its Roger’s wife. They think that she is going to be using her contacts as a sales person to try and sell the chips she either stole or had her husband steal from his company.
After watching Nora, they find that she is meeting with a man named Aaron who works for the government company making the chips. They think that he might be the one working with Nora on selling the chips and not her husband.
The DA is less then enthused that the tip is leading them down a twisty road that they can’t prosecute. Intelligence is going to work twice as hard to get to a conviction once they catch the bad guy. So they makes them have to go through a lot of different channels in hopes that they can get something that they can use. But that proves harder as Nora makes them.
Mouse comes up with a good idea to try and find where the chips are and are able to find the chips and the people that is working for her. They get Aaron to flip on Nora and he tells them the truth and about how he killed Roger. It always comes down to money because that’s all that both Nora and Aaron wanted.

She also tries to keep Roman’s head in check as he has feelings for the boy’s mother, but doesn’t want to take advantage of the situation.
