Today was a big day for trailer premieres. Not only did we get the first look at X-men: Apocalypse and the live action film for Tarzan, but we also get the first look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows movie. The second movie is looking to continue on the success that the first one did when it came out in July 2014.

In the trailer, we get a look at the turtles as they continue to protect their beloved city with a whole slew of new weapons, including that tricked out van that we saw at the end of the first movie. Megan Fox returns as April and (thankfully) has her natural hair color instead of red hair. We get a first look of Stephen Amell (TV’s Arrow) as Casey Jones as he helps April try and help the turtles from a new villain, Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry).

The first movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , redid a beloved movie that a lot of the parents of today grew up with and did surprisingly well. The movie went on to get $191 million at the box office domestically and $302 million foreign, which made it no surprise that there would be a sequel. It touched on a lot of the nostalgic feeling that a lot of the adults now have for their childhood and with the success that the show has on Nickelodeon, even kids could enjoy it too.

Teenage Mutant Turtles: Out of the Shadows is set to come out June 3 and looking to kick of the summer in a big way. Everyone is back from the first movie and they added a few new faces including The CW’s Arrow’s Stephen Amell and Tyler Perry. Movie looks like it will be as fun as the first movie.

What do you think of the trailer?
