In  today’s world we are always looking for a good value. More bang for your dollar so to speak. That is what we get in this book. Roman is not only a story about the bad boy changing his ways for the love of a good woman, but also of a man who had given up on love until he meets the person that changes everything.

What I love about this series is the way that Bennett makes the characters feel like a family. It’s inevitable that when you spend so much time with people you will eventually feel that familiarity that comes with being in a family. Yes there are times when they butt heads (like in this one with Gray and Roman) but when it comes down to it, they are there for one another through thick and thin.

Much like the Hawke, the book is a little anticlimactic. There was this bit build up of something going to happen and when it didn’t it was a bit of a let down. Granted it didn’t take from the overall story, I was just disappointed that the ending didn’t have that ‘OMG’ moment that will have you cursing at the author. It was basically ‘your too good for me’ ‘oh I’m not, ok’. I wish there was more of an event then just a moment.

Sawyer Bennett can whip out of these books like no ones business and I am impressed with the high quality that makes you coming back for more. I have been hooked on her books since the first one. I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
