Athletes have a certain air of cockiness and ego when it comes to their life. They know that they are good at what they do (especially when they are in the majors) and because of that, comes fame, glory, money, and basically relations with anybody that they want. And with Brody Easton, he is no exception to that rule.
But unlike most other players, he has a dark and deep past that has changed the man that he is now. He is not looking for love or for any kind of relationship because of messy past he doesn’t want to get caught up in the again. But of course, he doesn’t take into effect that love doesn’t care if you are ready or not when it’s coming for you.
And it comes like a bull rush, Delilah enters his life and throws his whole life for a loop. She is a reporter whose job is to talk about the Steel. But the second that she sees Brody, she knows that he is going to rock her world, but she’s not sure if it’s for the good or bad. She has her own baggage and she is not sure if she can ever move past them.
As can be expected, the story is HOT. There are certainly some scenes that are going to leave you desperate for more and that is right where Keeland wants you. Begging for more.
I will admit I was worried about the half way mark when a ghost of Brody’s past comes back and challenges what he is building with Delilah. Obviously I am team Delilah but you never know with guys and their first loves. As the story goes on, I don’t know what’s going to happen and it made me very nervous as the story goes on. The way that this ended was going to make and break my feelings for this story.
It turns out ok.
