Rynna shows Rex the way back to love in ‘Show me the Way’ by AL Jackson

Show Me the Way

The first stand-alone novel in A.L. Jackson’s brand-new Fight for Me series…

“This book is absolutely perfect.” – Corinne Michaels, New York Times Bestselling Author

The first sexy, captivating, stand-alone novel in the brand-new FIGHT FOR ME series from NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson . . .
Rex Gunner. As bitter as he is beautiful.
The owner of the largest construction company in Gingham Lakes has been burned one too many times. His wife leaving him to raise their daughter was the last blow this single dad could take. The only woman he’ll let into his heart is his little girl.
Rynna Dayne. As vulnerable as she is tempting.
She ran from Gingham Lakes when she was seventeen. She swore to herself she would never return. Then her grandmother passed away and left her the deed to the diner that she once loved.
When Rex meets his new neighbor, he knows he’s in trouble.
She’s gorgeous and sweet and everything he can’t trust.
Until she becomes the one thing he can’t resist.
One kiss sends them tumbling toward ecstasy.
But in a town this size, pasts are bound to collide. Caught in a web of lies, betrayal, and disloyalty, Rex must make a choice.
Will he hide behind his walls or will he take the chance . . .

Man can AL Jackson tell a story. Let me tell you. This story grabs your from page one and sinks it’s claws so deep into you that you can’t help but read it until the end. Her story is gripping, harrowing, and shows how irony can be a real cruel monster.

Rynna is hiding a big secret that she think she can run from when she returns back to Georgia. But as we all know, secrets have a way of kicking us in the backside when we least expect it. And boy does her past kick her in the behind. Jackson did a phenomenal job at keeping the big twist a secret until she was ready to reveal it because when I finally figured it out, it was already happening.

Rex, boy does this man have it rough. I know that if he didn’t have Frankie he would have given up. He’s been through some stuff that’s hard to go through once, but he did it twice. Yeah he’s a jerk at times but when you find out the ghosts haunting him you are like ‘how have you not given up on love?’. The way he is with Rynna is awe-inspiring and beautiful and shows that love can happen when you least expect it.

There is a HEA, thank God. But it’s a messy road for Rynna and Rex to get there. But it’s one of those beautiful rainbows that come after a rain storm kind of endings. It is the first book of a new series that will have each book covering another couple. There are some unanswered questions in this one but I feel like they will be answered in the next two books (or at least that is what I am hoping).
