Review: ‘Real Good Love’ by Meghan March – Logan does everything that he can to be the man that Banner needs

Format: e-book, paperback
Format read: e-book
Series: book 2 of Real Duet
Rating: 18+ for sexual content, language
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Goodreads page:

In the final book of the series, we meet back up with Banner and Logan who are both on the cusp of something great in both of their lives. But of course there are forces outside of their control that are threatening to challenge everything that they are building.

Now I love a romance story as much as the next person, but I really enjoyed this story because while it did have some steamy scenes, March focused a lot more on the characters and developing the overall story. I really liked where she was going with the hometown mystery circling Logan and his shop and I wanted to know what was going to happen next. For this front, it didn’t really get solved which makes me believe that we are not yet done with this world. Question is, who will take center stage.

Banner really comes to her own in this story as she accepts that Logan may be the one for her and that it’s ok to show weakness in front of that person. She has basically been on her own and I like seeing this strong person that we have come to known in the last book finally show a different side of herself. The best transformation though comes from Logan who thinks that Banner wants a New York kind of life and come to terms with what he has to offer is pretty great.

This one is probably my favorite in this world that March has written. I really enjoyed the relationship between Banner and Logan and I wouldn’t be opposed if we got another book with this couple.

A New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels, Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.
