Review

Hands down this is the best book that I have read from MN Forgy. The story is gritty, dark, romantic, funny, and suspenseful all at the same time. Benjamin and Harley have been best friends since she was 10 years old and she was saved from her mother. This is the romance part of the story. While he loves his biker gang, he loves Harley more and doesn’t care how long it takes for her to admit that she loves him.

Harley has got some bits and pieces going on. There is a big twist right at the beginning of the story that Forgy wants you to figure out because it shapes the whole story. There is a back and forth that shapes and forms the whole plot and keeps you enraptured from start to finish.

The end of the story is gripping and harrowing as Harley tries to find her place in the biker gang. Once I got to about 15% of the story I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait to see how it ended and Forgy did not disappoint. Benjamin swoons you from the first page because he is that alpha male that we love from a biker but at the same time, he is a romantic at heart. What I like to call the perfect combo.

The story is like I said before the best one that I have read from Forgy. She takes all those elements that I love from her other stories and combining it all into one. I wish I could go into more detail about why I love this story but I can’t because it would give away the spoilers. So I’ll just leave you with this. You won’t regret reading this book.

More about FREE RIDE

I’m crazy, deranged, and psychotic. I’m out of my mind and my life isn’t even mine half the time. Having Dissociative Identity Disorder, it’s an accurate assumption.

Born an MC brat, my only dream is to wear the colors of my father’s club, The Shadow Keepers. To feel the weight of the warm leather press across my back, and to be a part of something with purpose.

It wasn’t until the last drop of blood dripped from my fingertips and the gun smoke faded into the night sky that I realized what was really important to me.

Him.

In a blink of an eye, I lost it all. I lost him.

There’s no such thing as a Free Ride in life, and our story is an example of that.

Excerpt from free ride by

M.n. forgy

A large callused hand grasps the nape of my neck, the familiar smell of leather, weed, and whiskey wafting around me. That smell should be put in a candle, it’d sell a shit load the way it eases the anxiety in one’s chest.

A hard, warm body presses up against my back, and my eyes nearly roll into the back of my head.

“Benji.” The name falls from my tongue like a moan midst ecstasy. He feels so good against my body, my mind nearly loses its reality.

His lips brush against my ear. His hands slowly, lazily, slip down the back of my jeans, and his fingers brush against my sex. Tingles of pleasure surround my wetness, the notion to forget what is right and wrong nearly a breath in the wind with his hands on me.

“I want to bite this ass, trail my tongue down your supple cheeks until I dive my tongue deep inside this hot cunt of yours,” he mutters.

I grit my teeth with temptation. I want to wrap my legs around his neck while he licks every drop of my wetness. My body clenching around his tongue as I release what I’ve been denying myself into his mouth. I want to let him mouth fuck me into another world where it’s just him and I… but that would be selfish of me. A fucking mess.

I could lose him.

I grab him by the wrist and pull his hand out from my bottoms, his finger leaving a trail of wetness behind it.

“You can’t say my name like that, and deny me that tight ass, Harley.” He growls into the back of my ear.

“We can’t do this, you know that.” I clear my throat and shake my head.

There’s no denying that Benji is a catch. Tall, dangerous, and smoldering eyes that make you want to throw the idea of wearing panties into a fire.

But, I’m not capable of having a traditional relationship. I’m not saying that to be that teasing bitch everyone knows. I’m just the kind of girl that doesn’t get to experience the glamorous kind of love. No, my heart comes with a little bloodshed and a shot of insanity on the side. That’s the biker’s way of life, after all, and that alone makes me bad at this thing called love. I can’t promise I won’t break his heart. If I did lose him as my best friend, it’d be the first thing I’d never forgive myself for. Even if I did tease him, you couldn’t blame me. Benjamin Daxton is the sexiest man in this club.

Machete meets his match in ‘Illicit’ by MN Forgy

Full Blurb

I’m an animal, a member of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club that isn’t capable of human compassion. So I’ve been told anyway.

Raven is my club’s prisoner. I’ve been ordered to break her. It should be easy given my violent history. But being this close to a woman—this woman—for the first time in a long time, is like sharing company with the demon Lilith herself.

She’s my perfect toy. Filled with a dark rage. Blessed with perfected beauty. Sinfully sweet and wickedly divine. Everything about her solicits the demons inside me

I want to hear her screams. I want those big, dark eyes looking up at me—silently begging me for mercy. I want to be her heaven…and her hell.

My desire for her is forbidden. My infatuation is illicit. I’m betraying my club.

And if the wage of my sin is death, then this woman is going to get me killed.

Review

Where to begin with this book…

It’s a cat and mouse game between Raven and Machete as Machete tries to find out where Cross is while trying to keep his unexplained feelings for Raven at bay. Raven is not someone who can be broken and she won’t just give up Cross without a fight. She has a plan and it doesn’t involve falling in love with Machete.

The book does go into the world of BDSM and a little of the slave/master part of it, but the confusing part is you don’t know who is the master and who is the slave. Of course Machete wants to be the master but he falls at Raven’s feet so often it makes you wonder if really Raven is the master here. I love the dynamic of their relationship and wondering who is what at any given time.

There is death in the story (because obviously it’s a MC book) but it doesn’t have as much as the other books did. But the few deaths are gruesome and dark in their own and certainly offset the body count. Especially that death at the end, oh boy was that graphic. So be prepared for that.

The story is gritty, heart wrenching, and beautiful all at the same time. It shows that anybody can find love even when they least expect it in the last place they expect it. We have seen that time and time again in this series and it carries on with Machete.

EXCERPT

“Kill me?” she whispers, her fingertips caressing my cheek. I want to push my body onto her, and feel her warmth against my skin one more time before I take her life and her body cools. I’m going to enjoy her. She’s dark and twisted.
I smile and bend down to get closer to her. Running my hand through her soft black hair I pet her, brushing her loose hairs away from her face. Fuck, I’m excited to play with her, hear her scream and watch her fear me. To quickly kill someone as pretty and smart as her would be a goddamn waste. Like breaking a toy before you got a chance to play with it, this needs to be done slowly.

“Oh no sweetheart, the fun is just about to start,” I threaten in a low whisper.

Something dark passes over her face, but she doesn’t break eye contact. It’s almost as if she sobers completely.

Suddenly a foot strikes me in the chest and I sail into the side of the van.

‘Retaliate’ by MN Forgy has Felix breaking the code for a cop

Blurb

Being the Vice President of the Sin City Outlaws Motorcycle Club comes with its perks.

Respect, power, and easy women whenever I want. I have control in everything I do.

Because of that, I wasn’t expecting my president to put me on babysitting duty, and on a female cop of all fucking people. I kill law enforcement, not protect them.

Alessandra pretends to be the good-guy hiding behind that shiny badge. But I see the darkness dancing in her eyes, and it draws me to her in the worst way. I want to devour that act of innocence, pull her over the line of justice, and into my bed.

I just wasn’t expecting the handful of secrets I got behind that badge of honor I ripped from her chest.  Because now, we’re retaliating against a common enemy together.

Review

If you thought that Zeke was a bad-a** mofo then you have another thing coming. Felix is everything that Zeke is only ten times more intense. He gave Zeke such a hard time for falling in love with a cop, but finds himself down the same road with Alessandra. That is until he finds out the truth about her past that makes him see that she is more then just a cop.

Unlike the first book, this couple is more of that hate that leads to passion because we all know those types of moments, which are the best ones. They hate each other and hate that they are so intrigued and attracted to the other. I loved reading the back and forth between the two of them because it’s funny and you know that it’s just a matter of time before they fall in bed with one another.

Alessandra, much like Jillian, is a bad-a** because she doesn’t take grief from anyone and is a cop that you don’t want to mess with. She is good at her job and the only struggle that she has is with Felix. He doesn’t care about the law and makes her see that it might fun to walk on the wild side.

I love how Felix did the same thing that Zeke did and fell for a cop. He was the one that gave Zeke the hardest time when he was going through everything with Jillian, but the difference, Alessandra is just as crazy and jacked up as Felix is. It makes me real scared/excited to see the kind of trouble that these two can/will get in to.

I like how Forgy brings up the struggle that cops deal with on a day to day basis and I love that we not only see the tough calls but the funny calls too (like when she was arresting a man who thought he was a flamingo). It’s a tough and dangerous road that these cops go down and it takes real courage to go out there with each day and protect the law. But we also see that there is more then just black and white with the law. And that there are many layers of gray.

I hope that there is going to be another book in the series for this couple because they are fun and exciting and the passion that they exude is something that I would like to indulge in again.

Excerpt

“So, you came here to what, let loose?” I ask suggestively, lust hanging from the tip of my tongue.

She looks up through hooded eyes, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

Taking a small step, I invade her space. Using my finger, I tuck it firmly under her chin making her look me in the eyes. God, she’s so fucking soft to touch, my hands itch to take advantage of her body and soul. That’s what I do, I devour innocent women, and scar their souls to the point they’re damaged goods.

“Were you going to fuck one of my men tonight, Alessandra?” I ask hastily.

Her throat bobs as she swallows, fire igniting her eyes as she pulls away. She’s a pistol and not the kind you love and shine every day with care. More like the kind you’re scared to use because it may backfire on you at any minute.

“So what if I was? Why do you care?” She raises a challenging brow, her voice sharp. A burning sensation combusts in my chest thinking about her riding one of my guy’s dicks.

“I forbid you to open your legs to any of my brothers, do you understand?” My rash decision comes from an unknown place. An insatiable hunger beading at the tip of my dick.

Her jaw drops, and her hands curl into fists.

“Who do you think you are to dictate who I screw?” she scowls.

My temples pound with annoyance and anger, done with this back and forth.

Leaning down my lips a hair’s length away from her face, I intimidate her to the point she looks away and purses her lips.

“Maybe you didn’t get the memo, Blue Bird, but now that Zeek is playing daddy… I run this fucking city. Therefore, I say who you fuck, and don’t fuck.”

Her chocolate eyes snap to mine, and I know I have her full attention. Which I want, I want her to look at me, to really see me. All of me.

Review: ‘Mercy’ by MN Forgy is a thrill ride from page one to the finish

Format: e-book, paperback
Format read: e-book
Series: book 2 of Sin City Outlaws
Rating: 18+ sexual content, language, dark themes
Genre: Dark Romance
Goodreads page: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28699648-mercy

I have read a few MC books and one thing that remains true across all the books and that is you live by the rules of the MC and you die by the MC rules. That is where we are now with Jillian and Zeek. They are on the run based on what happened with the last book and it’s going to be a race to try and save their skin while trying not to die in the process.

The romance is hotter in this one (if you can believe it). Except this time it’s different. There is a level of hate and anger between the two them is apparent and it spills over into the bedroom. It’s scorching hot that you are going to be fanning yourself as you turn to the next page. I certainly know that I was doing that.

What I love most about the characters is while there are times that you don’t agree with them or the decisions that they make, you can’t help but root for them. They have each other’s backs and will put their own safety to the wind in order to protect each other. That is love. Putting the other one before them. Zeek finally knows what it’s like to have a family and what that means in regards to love, happiness, and protection. It’s a different kind of family then his MC because he could only trust a few people there.

The story is filled with action from start to finish. My favorite scenes were the ones that Jillian is kicking butt. I love to see the reaction of all those that she fights because the moves she puts on would put Liam Neeson to shame. She knows how to protect herself, and it makes it obvious why Zeek would fall for someone like her. Because she fights back.

This story does end with a HEA for Jillian and Zeek despite the fact that there is a third book planned to come out. No doubt these two will be in the future books because it’s hard to imagine a world of Sin City Outlaw without them in it.

Review: ‘Reign’ by MN Forgy – enter in a world where lines get blurred between the law and outlaw

Format: e-book, paperback
Format read: e-book
Series: book 1 of Sin City Outlaws
Rating: 18+ sexual content, language, dark themes
Genre: Dark Romance
Goodreads page: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/27245702-reign

Just a modern day forbidden story. The president of a MC gang falls in love with a cop who is set out to take them down. That is until he’s made her feel things she’s never felt before. The black and white lines turn gray and we get to see that struggle for both of them as they try and decide if the other is worth the risk.

Jillian has led a very sheltered life with her mom a protestor and works for the local church and father a cop. It’s no surprise that she would be attracted to someone like Zeek. He makes her feel alive and makes her seeing that there is more to life then just following the rules.

There are going to be times when you won’t like Zeek. Some of the things he says are the same things that an abusive boyfriend would say to their girlfriend, and Jillian recognizes it. But like her, you just don’t care. You want to live on the edge. Take a walk on the wild side because that’s the only time that you will truly feel real.

The last 10% go from 0-100 mph as we find out the truth about both of the problems that were plaguing them throughout the book (though both were predictable). Normally this is something that I don’t like to happen, but it works out well for this book because it sets up the sequel in a way that is going to make you want to keep reading. I wanted to jump right in but I stopped myself because I needed to write this before I start mixing stories.

I can’t wait to see where this story is going to take us in the next book. I know that it’s going to be an exciting roller coaster ride that will have me hooked from page one to the end.
